Water is one of the most important naturally occurring resources and is necessary for the survival of life on Earth. It supports both plants and other living things. Both the quantity and quality of fresh water are deteriorating over time as a result of human activity. As a result, we need to develop new water filtration techniques that consume the least amount of water and energy. This study focuses on the ultrafiltration technique for water filtration, which can result in higher-quality filtered water than conventional methods. Without using external chemicals, it can treat viruses and bacteria present in water. Since there is a significant chance of the presence of microorganisms and turbidity in open water sources, it can be a preferable treatment option for open water resources. Scaling up is simple because of the modular design of the filtration candles. A theoretical study is also done to determine the membrane's medium resistance and fouling resistance. Forest regression techniques have been applied to measure the significance of parameters with respect to fouling resistance.
